Follow up is going to be so vital for your new business!

It is rare that someone will enroll as a member at their first exposure to essential oils. Experts say that people need 6-8 exposures before saying yes.
When we do a vendor event, teach a class, host a make & take, etc... we are PLANTING SEEDS! Seeds need to be watered, so take the time to water them and love on them! Help them grow so that they are ready to be picked at the most opportune moment 🌷🌼
The fortune is in the follow up
Be REAL with people, treat them as a friend, genuinely care about them and their needs, be respectful and you will have no problem! ❤️

Answering the hard questions

As you grow your business you will hear ALL the excuses in the book! You will be shocked at some of the excuses that you hear. You will also get asked some questions that may make you feel uncomfortable or that you do not know the answer to....

❤️ It's perfectly acceptable to look up an answer and get back to someone -- REFERENCES WILL BE YOUR BEST FRIEND!

Strategic placement of members

Once you start getting members on your team, its important that you know where to put them to maximize your potential!
So let's talk a little strategy. This is REALLY important to know early on!

In order to maximize your efforts, you can strategically place new members under existing members. This will assist in building “LEGS.” Legs are basically little teams or communities underneath you. For ranks Executive and above, you need LEGS to be eligible for each rank (refer back to Day 5).
To reach the rank of Executive and Silver, you will need two “LEGS.”

In this graphic the green circles are your personally enrolled. If Kim and Jane are spending 100 PV, they will be the top of two different legs for you. In this example, you can see that Jane enrolled Pat. You have now enrolled Sue and have strategically placed her underneath Pat to help build your leg under Jane.
There are a lot of different reasons you may want to utilize strategic placement. My suggestion to you would be to YouTube "Young Living strategic placement" or "Young Living Stacking" and watch ALL of the videos that you can find! Everyone out there has a different stance on the "best" way to strategically place members. Watch the videos and pick and choose strategies that fit best with YOUR business.

⭐ Remember, this is YOUR business. Strategic placement is not always easy since you only have 30 days to move someone before you would have to email in to YL, get 3 upline approval, and pay a $35 fee.

Do what you feel is best for your business AND that new member! Do what feels right in your heart. If it feels icky, it probably is! Meditate on it, pray on it, make the move, and then be ok with it!

Sometimes we make moves that turn out to be an amazing fit! Sometimes we make moves that maybe don't work out so well. You made the best decision at the time and thats that. Don't dwell on it. Accept it and move on! It will all be ok and it will all work out. I promise!

how to move members

In your new members FIRST 5 DAYS 
You can simply call member services 1-800-371-3515 or use Live Chat in your VO and let them know that you would like to change ___(your new members name and member number)___, sponsor to ______(the person you want to put them under's name and member number)___. I would also let them know that you would like to remain the enroller (unless you are giving someone the enrollership AND sponsorship).

Days 6-30 

You need to email the above request to resolutions@youngliving.com. Here is an example of what I send them...

Hello,
My name is Amanda DeWald (MEMBER NUMBER pin #). I would like to change NEW MEMBER (THEIR #) Sponsor to EXISTING MEMBER (THEIR #). I would like to remain Enroller please.
Thank you!

Easy Peasy! Just make sure you make your moves within the new member's FIRST 30 DAYS!
If you need some guidance on a specific person, connect with your Enroller and talk it through with them.
